We’re loving Dune — this modular, grey seating by Rainer Mutsch. It’s made of natural cellulose fiber cement. The design is stark but naturally inviting. It looks almost as if a giant pressed their impossibly fat thumb down into a piece of stone and curved out a fantastic little space for us to sit!

Dune has received the Red Dot Design Award 2009, Good Design Award 2010, and Green Good Design Award 2011.

About the Author

Troy Beasley, Design Principal of Beasley & Henley Interior Design, has over 20 years experience in interior design and related industries. Mr. Beasley is a licensed Interior Designer with the State of Florida (ID0000970), a Member of ASID, a Florida board member for the Institute of Classical Architecture and serves as Industry Board and Alumni Chair at Seminole State College in Sanford, FL.
